Village resident and bird watcher Stephen Walker states that he saw "Something like 13 vultures" in the area of Lever Hill in town. When asked to clarify he asserted that it was definitely 13.
No other verified vulture spottings are known at this time, but there have been numerous large birds spotted around town with amateur bird watchers speculating that they are potentially eagles or falcons, but all agree that they are definitely large.
